Our technology in 1-room solution

Patented ceramic heat storage technology that outperforms traditional ventilation systems — delivering up to 97% heat recovery in a compact, ductless unit.

Ceramic ball regenerator

At the heart of every Din Ventilation unit is a patented high-efficiency ceramic heat storage regenerator. Unlike traditional honeycomb or plate heat exchangers, our system uses thousands of tiny ceramic balls packed into a cylindrical core.

During the exhaust cycle, warm indoor air passes through the ceramic core, transferring its heat energy to the balls. When the cycle reverses, fresh outdoor air flows through the same core and absorbs the stored heat before entering the room. This alternating process repeats every 70 seconds, achieving up to 97% heat recovery efficiency.

The ceramic material is chemically inert, does not degrade over time, and can be cleaned simply by rinsing with water — ensuring consistent performance for the lifetime of the unit.

Why decentralised ventilation?

No ductwork

Each unit is self-contained and mounts directly in the exterior wall. No ceiling voids, risers, or distribution ducts required — saving significant construction cost and time.

Individual room control

Every room gets its own ventilation unit with independent controls. Occupants can adjust airflow, set schedules, and respond to local conditions — unlike centralised systems.

Easy retrofit

A single Ø160 mm core drill through the exterior wall is all it takes. Ideal for renovation projects where installing ductwork would be disruptive, expensive, or simply impossible.

Energy efficiency

With 97% heat recovery, only 3% of thermal energy is lost during ventilation. This dramatically reduces heating costs and helps buildings meet increasingly strict energy performance standards.

Low noise

Operating at just 12 dB(A) on the lowest setting, our units are quieter than a whisper. Ideal for bedrooms, offices, and any space where silence matters.

Smart connectivity

WiFi-enabled units connect to the AirLinq app for remote monitoring, scheduling, and integration with building management systems. Track CO₂, humidity, and temperature in real time.
